FAQs
I am new to the furry thing, can I attend?
Of course! How else will you learn if it is a new found interest or just deep fascination/curiosity.
A fun thing to know is you do not need to be a furry to enjoy anthro art or fursuiting.
How much of a crowd do you draw?
Our potlucks can range anywhere from 20-60 depending on the time of year and how available attendees are.
If you are shy or have limited spoons, Vic recommends a winter time meet or a meet happening at Battan Memorial Park, Rio Grande Park or Doc Long Site as there is space to spread out and trees to take a moment behind.
My child is a furry and would like to attend, are these meets appropriate?
While a youth directed meet or all ages conventions are most recommended, your child can attend our furmeet with your active supervision.
Please remember our meets are a safe space for furries, and the fandoms’ population is majority adults, so conversations your child may hear are at your discretion.
What is a furmeet?
A furmeet is simply a meet up or meet for furries. They can be as casual as furs meeting up for coffee or a scheduled occurrence like DV’s potlucks.
It is not a convention/furcon.
Why do you charge for spectating for furbowls if they just watch?
The focus of our furbowls is bowling and we prefer to not crowd the alley with more than each lane in the alley is designed for.
The spectator cost also helps with drinks purchased for the lanes, as well as ticketing and processing fees.
